About Pennington Health
Pennington Health is led by physiotherapist Michael Pennington, a specialist in musculoskeletal assessment, hands‑on treatment and rehabilitation. The clinic provides evidence‑based physiotherapy for individuals and practical MSK support for employers across Cornwall.
Meet the founder:
With two decades of clinical experience across the NHS, private practice, and the corporate sector, I provide expert musculoskeletal (MSK) treatment designed to get you moving better and working safely.
My career began in 2006 after graduating from Keele University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. I honed my skills in a specialist Orthopaedic centre before moving into the NHS, eventually expanding into private practice in 2017 to support a wider range of individual patients and local organisations.
Clinical & Sports Experience
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep focus on MSK health — from everyday aches and pains to complex injury rehabilitation. My work has taken me from local clinics to international sports events; I was proud to serve as part of the medical team for the Dallaglio Cycle Slams in 2022 and 2024, providing hands-on care to riders touring across continental Europe to raise funds for the Dallaglio RugbyWorks charity.
Occupational Health & Specialist Accreditations
Alongside treating individual patients, I specialise in helping businesses protect their workforce. I provide comprehensive workplace assessments and detailed ergonomic reports to improve workplace comfort and productivity.
