FAQs
Do I require a GP/other health professional referral?
No – you do not require a referral from another health professional to access care with the clinic.
What should I expect before and during my first appointment?
We will ask you to complete a registration form which will be sent to you via email prior to your first appointment. During the initial assessment, your Physiotherapist will ask you a number of questions to better understand your current issue. The Physiotherapist will then undertake a physical assessment to confirm a diagnosis. You may be asked to partially undress and there is likely to be physical contact with the Physiotherapist. Treatment may begin during the same appointment, depending on the issue. Towards the end of the appointment, guidance will be given relating to ongoing care recommendations, or self-management strategies.
Is free parking available on site?
Yes – free parking is available to all clients in front of the clinic.
Our Testimonials
Mike is just brilliant. I had a knee replacement in April then the other knee replaced in July and having followed ALL his advice without overdoing it and definitely not underdoing it, it is now October and I’m on week 2 of couch to 5km. Yes I am currently running for the first time in 10 years. Just do what Mike says and you can get there eventually. It may seem like slow progress with pain, sleepless nights, swelling and many frustrations but if you do exactly what Mike says you will see light at the end of the tunnel and eventually do whatever you want. I’m running on Portreath Beach in a red Lions rugby top every other day if you’d like a reference in person.
Met Michael for the first time, he gave a thorough question and answer session to get an understanding of my condition and set me at ease before a physical examination to see the extent of my movement, he explained what he would do and how I would expect to feel during the Physio, improvement in my condition was noticeable from this first session. I would highly recommend Michael if you need a Physio.
Excellent experience here, Mike listened carefully and tailored the treatment to my symptoms. Very friendly, sympathetic and helpful. Thanks very much.
Mike was fantastic at his visit to see me in work today. He made me feel respected, listened to and valid. He was friendly, professional, understanding, patient and very easy to talk to. Thank you.
